Hyundai Motor India will announce ex-showroom prices for the all-new Bayon on October 26, 2026, with pre-bookings open at Rs 11,000, according to Autocar India and Carlelo.
The engine is a 1.5-litre petrol of 115 horsepower, and the reports differ on whether the automatic is a CVT or an IVT.
The expected price of Rs 9 to 15 lakh is an estimate, and a CNG option and a 5-star rating are unconfirmed.
The official announcement should be checked for final prices and variants.
Carlelo gives the length as 4.24 metres, while Autocar India’s article gives no dimensions.
The SUV is built on Hyundai’s Global K Enhanced platform, according to both reports.
Features listed include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat, dual 12.3-inch displays, a generative AI voice assistant, Bose audio, a wireless phone charger and over-the-air updates.
Carlelo adds 17-inch alloy wheels, an 8-speaker Bose system and a 411-litre boot.
Hyundai says there are more than 35 standard safety features, including six airbags and electronic stability control, according to Autocar India.
Top variants get Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera and blind-spot detection, according to the same report.
Autocar India says the SUV is engineered for a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. This is an engineering target and not a rating, since no crash test result has been announced.
The expected ex-showroom price is Rs 9 lakh to Rs 14 lakh, according to Autocar India, and Rs 9.50 lakh to Rs 15 lakh, according to Carlelo. Both are estimates and Hyundai has not announced a price.
Rivals named include the Maruti Victoris and Honda Elevate, according to Carlelo, and the Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq, according to Autocar India.
Variant names reported from leaks are not confirmed by Hyundai.
Buyers should wait for the official price announcement on October 26 before deciding.
