Spider-Man: Brand New Day has crossed the Rs 100 crore net mark at the Indian box office within two days of its release, trade tracker Sacnilk reported. The film, led by Tom Holland and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, was distributed by Sony Pictures and opened in Indian cinemas on Thursday, July 30, 2026, a day ahead of its global release on July 31.

Opening-day collections stood at Rs 60.60 crore net, with a gross of Rs 71.51 crore, numbers trade analysts said ranked among the strongest Hollywood openings in India this year.

The second day saw a dip to Rs 49.35 crore net, down 18.6% from the opening day, as the film ran across 16,902 shows nationwide with an occupancy of 64.8%.

The combined two-day net collection of Rs 109.95 crore means the film has cleared the Rs 100 crore mark well before its opening weekend has concluded.

The film released in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam versions across Indian theatres, a broad rollout intended to reach audiences across the country’s major regional-language markets.

Trade watchers will now track the weekend performance closely, since sustaining momentum through Saturday and Sunday is typically what determines a film’s overall theatrical run in India.

Trade analysts note that Thursday releases have become common practice for major Hollywood titles in India, allowing an extra day of collections before the traditional Friday-to-Sunday opening weekend window.

Multiplex chains reported houseful shows for evening and night slots in metro cities including Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru through the first two days of release.

The film rounds out Tom Holland’s trilogy of solo Spider-Man features made in collaboration between Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios.

The film also stars Zendaya and Sadie Sink reprising their roles alongside Tom Holland, with the returning cast a key draw for opening-weekend audiences in India.
